Who we are: Welcome to Thriftar – an online marketplace owned by Octimal Solutions Limited, Nigeria. We operate this platform (“Site”) where thrift fashion lovers can meet to buy, sell, and exchange pre-loved items.
What we do: Thriftar connects individuals who wish to sell (“Sellers”) with those who want to buy (“Buyers”). We host the platform only. We do not buy, sell, or handle items, process payments, or guarantee transactions.
About you: By using Thriftar, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or under supervision of a parent/guardian), provide accurate details, and agree to these Terms.
2. About these Terms
These Terms & Conditions are a legal agreement between you and us, governing your use of our Site. By creating an account or using Thriftar, you accept them fully.

4. Becoming a User

8. Selling on Thriftar
- You may sell only pre-loved items that are legal and yours to transfer.
- Listings must have original photos, accurate descriptions, and note any defects.
- Thriftar does not verify items; responsibility lies fully with Sellers.
9. Buying on Thriftar
Buyers contact Sellers directly to arrange purchase and delivery. All agreements (price, delivery, returns) are solely between Buyer and Seller.
Note: Thriftar does not process payments, deliver items, or provide buyer protection.
10. Messaging & Reviews
- Messages may only be used to discuss items.
- No spam, harassment, or fraudulent activity.
- Reviews must be honest, fair, and based on genuine experiences.
11. Ending Our Relationship
Your choice: you may delete your account anytime.
Our choice: we may suspend or terminate your account if you misuse Thriftar or breach these Terms.
